Tasks of the psychologist of the centers (departments) of comprehensive rehabilitation in the field of social and domestic adaptation
1) work with the immediate environment of a person with disabilities to create an optimal rehabilitation environment;
2) determination of the psychological readiness of a person with disabilities to use orthopedic products, technical and auxiliary means, the formation of an adequate attitude to their operation, overcoming primary psychological discomfort;
3) the formation of an adequate restructuring of the hierarchy of motives by the type of their resubordination to a new meaning-forming motive;
4) preservation of life, health, and the possibility of self-care;
5) purposeful work on the formation of a favorable emotional and psychological climate in the family of a person with disabilities.
