Terminal values (values-goals)

the belief that the ultimate goal of individual existence is worth striving for.basic values that are significant in themselves, which cannot be justified by other, more general or important values (in other words: self-values). Sometimes terminal values are compared with the goals of life that a person sets for himself. The concept of terminal values in psychology was described by M. Rokeach, the author of the methodology for studying the value orientations of the individual.
