The brain as a dynamic, changing system

A complex and ever-changing system that is influenced by daily experiences, learning, and the environment. Each higher mental function—attention, memory, thinking, and problem-solving—is gradually formed through the constant interaction of the neural structure with the educational and social environment. Thanks to neuroplasticity, the brain is able to reorganize and compensate for functional deficits or disorders, which allows the child to recover from injuries, overcome certain developmental difficulties and develop his abilities in many areas. In this way, the brain becomes a dynamic system capable of adapting to difficulties and changes, rather than a rigid structure whose functions are limited to certain areas. Understanding this variable nature is critical for early diagnosis and therapeutic intervention in children.
