The effect of exam anxiety
the state of tension and psychological discomfort experienced by some students while preparing for or passing exams, which negatively affects their ability to remember, concentrate and solve questions. Anxiety can manifest as physical symptoms (such as sweating and headaches), psychological symptoms (such as feeling exhausted or unlucky), and behavioral symptoms (such as avoidance of learning). While moderate anxiety can motivate students to perform better, excessive anxiety is a real barrier to academic achievement. Therefore, the role of teachers and counseling psychologists is important in providing psychological support and teaching strategies for time management, relaxation and organization of the educational process.
