The tasks of social workers of rehabilitation departments include
1) training in self-service techniques, the use of household appliances, the organization of life in everyday life, housekeeping;
2) development of practical skills of an independent lifestyle, rejection of dependent attitudes;
3) development of personal interests and motivation for a healthy active lifestyle;
4) restoration of health through the organization of recreation, entertainment, sports games and activities;
5) training family members of a person with disabilities in care, assistance, and communication with him/her;
6) conducting social trainings and psycho-correctional work (together with a psychologist);
7) assistance in adaptation in society after discharge from the department, determination of the need for types of social assistance and assistance in obtaining it.
