Virtual Reality-Based Therapy
A type of psychotherapy that uses virtual reality (VR) technologies to create interactive, simulated environments designed to treat a variety of psychological disorders. This type of therapy is based on the use of advanced technology to create immersive experiences that can mimic physical reality or be specifically designed to meet specific therapeutic needs. an interactive environment for psychotherapy with which the patient interacts through a virtual reality device. These environments can be designed to include complex, disturbing, or progressive situations, and are based on the basic principles of exposure therapy and behavioral training. For example, virtual reality can be used to simulate situations faced by patients with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) or phobias, allowing them to gradually immerse themselves in these situations in a safe, controlled environment.
