Wechsler test
one of the most famous tests for measuring the level of intellectual development, based on David Wechsler’s hierarchical model of intelligence. The test diagnoses general intelligence and its components – verbal and non-verbal intelligence in the form of numerical indicators – IQ coefficient. The test is focused primarily on distinguishing between normal and abnormal in intellectual development: on the elimination of subjects who do not meet the requirements of a particular activity. Differentiation of subjects by numerical IQ values above the norm is not appropriate.
