L. B. Schneider defines professional identity as &#8220;self-reference of the uniqueness of the functional and existential Self in its professional service and the uniqueness of personal and professional properties, in the presence of belonging to social and professional reality.&#8221; Thus, in her opinion, the structure of professional identity includes meanings and chronotopes (the basis of self-determination and self-organization), prototypes (the basis of personalization), and values (the basis of the self-image).
