These principles include:<br \/>\n 1) early start of rehabilitation measures \u2013 rehabilitation measures should begin in case of congenital pathology \u2013 from the first days of a child&#8217;s life, in an adult \u2013 at the last stage of treatment and complement it. The purpose of early intervention is to reduce the complications of a disease or injury, to prevent the development of irreversible organic, psychological and functional changes, the phenomena of &#8220;hospitalism&#8221;;<br \/>\n2) continuity and complexity of the assistance provided \u2013 coordinated implementation of rehabilitation measures by specialists of different profiles and at different levels \u2013 institutional, intradepartmental, interdepartmental;<br \/>\n3) step-by-step, continuity and completeness \u2013 rationally parallel implementation of complex rehabilitation measures with a constantly increasing functional and semantic load, from simple processes to complex ones. Each stage and type of rehabilitation should be focused on a specific really possible task, in the solution of which a new one is set. The duration of the rehabilitation process is determined by the need in each case &#8211; from several weeks to many years;<br \/>\n4) individual approach \u2013 the choice of a set of rehabilitation measures and the place of their implementation is determined by the whole variety of psychophysical, personal and social characteristics of the rehabilitated;<br \/>\n5) the unity of psychosocial and biological methods of rehabilitation implies the provision of assistance outside inpatient institutions, in a natural environment.    <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>initial basic provisions, the implementation of which contributes to the high organization and ensuring the effectiveness of rehabilitation activities.
