considers disability in the light of the inability or, more precisely, limited ability to move independently, see or hear, speak or think in a standard way, hence the inclusion in the infrastructure of society of a system of social services, to which a person with a disability could delegate his or her disabilities, would make him an equal member of society. This model assumes the ability to fully control one’s life on the basis of acceptable choices, which minimize dependence on other people in making decisions and carrying out daily activities; orients a person with a disability to set the same goals as any other member of society. The philosophy of independent living assumes that independent living:
\n1) the ability to determine and choose a way of life that allows you to make decisions independently and freely manage circumstances in various life situations;
\n2) the right of a person to be an integral part of modern society and, taking an active part in social and political processes, to have freedom of choice;
\n3) the opportunity to have the right to fully participate in the processes of medical and social rehabilitation and to be the main expert in assessing their quality;
\n4) the right of a person to have free access to housing and the environment, social infrastructure and transport, work and education, medical care and social services;
