Bekhterev, Vladimir Mikhailovich (1857–1927)
Psychiatrist and neurologist, founder of reflexology. He created the first experimental psychological laboratory in Russia. His main contribution is the development of objective methods for studying the psyche through the analysis of external behavior and combinatory-motor reflexes. The significance of his works lies in the creation of a complex doctrine of personality and a powerful scientific school, and his methods influenced the formation of behaviorism.
