Cattell (Cattell), Raymond Bernard (1905–1998)

British and American psychologist who made significant contributions to the development of differential psychology in the areas of personality traits, abilities, and motivation. Author of the 16-factor personality model and creator of the corresponding psychodiagnostic method (16PF Multifactorial Personality Questionnaire). He is the author of the theory of fluid and crystallized intelligence. Cattell’s main works belong to the field of systematic study of human personality.
