Factors affecting the attention of road users
Classification of factors that can affect a person’s behavior on the road:
1) Internal factors – fatigue and drowsiness, cognitive overload, emotional state (anxiety, anger, boredom), age and skills acquired with experience (previous experience).
2) External factors – traffic density, weather and lighting conditions, noise, billboards and unexpected stimuli (e.g. pedestrian behavior).
