Fatigue and drowsiness on the road

A psychological and physiological condition in which the driver feels very tired, exhausted, or excessively sleepy while driving. This reduces attention, concentration, and the ability to make quick decisions, greatly increasing the likelihood of road accidents. This phenomenon is one of the most important psychological factors affecting road safety, as it impairs cognitive and motor functions and slows down the response to emergencies.
Manifestations of fatigue and drowsiness caused by the vehicle:
1) Poor attention and concentration: it is difficult to follow the road and other vehicles, or ignore traffic lights and warning signs.
2) Slow response: Slow response to emergencies such as a sudden stop of a car or a pedestrian crossing.
3) Irritable or unpredictable driving behavior: An increased tendency to overtake vehicles, maneuver between lanes, or partially lose control of the vehicle.
4) Severe drowsiness: A tendency to fall asleep while driving, even for a short time, which increases the risk of collision or getting off the road.
