Swiss psychiatrist and psychologist. He is known as the author of the personality research test “Rorschach Spots” (1921). He introduced the term “psychodiagnostics” (1921). He also developed the very concept of psychodiagnostics. For a long time, psychoanalysis was in the center of Rorschach’s interests. He became a proponent of the then new psychoanalytic method in Swiss medical circles.
