Multisensory agnosia
A rare neurological disorder in which there is a violation of the ability to recognize information received from several senses (visual, auditory, tactile and others) due to damage to the cerebral cortex. At the same time, the senses themselves function normally, but the brain loses the ability to interpret and be aware of incoming sensations, which leads to the inability to recognize even familiar objects or phenomena.
