Personality test in the psychology of road behavior
A specialized psychometric assessment tool designed to measure the psychological, emotional and cognitive characteristics of drivers in order to identify their behavioural patterns and the extent to which they affect driving quality. These tests are based on well-established scientific models of personality psychology, such as the Big Five Questionnaire (NEO-PI-R) or multidimensional clinical tests such as the MMPI. They are used to identify individual differences in character traits that are directly related to the driver’s behavior on the road. This includes examining traits such as aggression, which can increase the likelihood of risky behaviors, such as reckless overtaking or road violence; discipline, reflecting the driver’s compliance with traffic rules and road signs; anxiety, which can affect concentration, attention and reaction; and impulsivity associated with hasty decisions and insufficient risk assessment. Thanks to these parameters, the test can provide a scientific assessment of the driver’s willingness to comply with the rules of safe behavior or the likelihood of him getting into an accident.
