Robert Sternberg (born 1949)

a well-known American psychologist, professor of psychology at the University of Oklahoma. He is the author of the triarchic theory of intelligence, which distinguishes analytical, creative, and practical intelligence. Sternberg has served as a professor at Yale and Tufts Universities, was dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, and president of the American Psychological Association (APA). His work has had a great influence on the psychology of intelligence, creativity and education.
