The Contribution of Road Psychology
Traffic psychology contributes to improving road safety and reducing the number of accidents by developing strategies to correct risky behaviour, improve attention and concentration, and develop the ability to make preventive decisions and adapt to changing road conditions. It also studies the impact of individual, social and cultural factors on road performance (age, experience, character traits, social pressures and collective values) with the aim of developing awareness and training programmes that promote safe and responsible behaviour on the road.
