Tsvetkova, Lyubov Semenovna (1929–2016)
A neuropsychologist specializing in the study of child neuropsychology, with a particular focus on the development of higher cognitive functions and mental abilities in children at different stages of development. Tsvetkova is engaged in the study of factors that affect learning and psychological adaptation, as well as the development of diagnostic and treatment methods to support children with special needs or with difficulties in academic and cognitive activities. Scientific work and contribution: Tsvetkova published her important book “Topical Issues of Child Neuropsychology”, published in Voronezh in 2006. The book examines complex issues related to the development of higher cognitive functions in children, such as attention, memory, analytical thinking, and problem-solving. The book also discusses the mechanisms of neuropsychological diagnosis and corrective interventions, with an emphasis on modern scientific methods to support the psychological development of children. Tsvetkova’s work is considered an important source of information for researchers, educational therapists and psychologists, as it provides a scientific basis for the implementation of neuropsychological rehabilitation programs, understanding individual differences in the development of children’s mental abilities and developing effective strategies to improve learning and socio-psychological adaptation in different settings.
