Zeigarnik, Bluma Vulfovna (1900–1988)
Soviet psychologist, representative of the Vygotsky school. She is the founder of pathopsychology. She became world famous for the discovery of the “Zeigarnik effect” – a phenomenon in which incomplete actions are remembered better than completed ones. She studied disorders of thinking, memory and personality in mental illnesses.
