Traffic-related working memory functions
the functionality that falls on working memory in the context of human behavior on the road:
1) Visual information: processing information about the movement of vehicles, traffic lights and obstacles on the road.
2) Spatial information: maintaining distance between vehicles, determining the correct trajectory for a turn, and assessing safe places to start driving or overtaking.
3) Temporal information: Predict when other vehicles or traffic lights stop to assess the need to accelerate or brake.
4) Planning: development of real-time manoeuvre plans (lane change or overtaking) based on continuous assessment of the traffic situation.
