World Federation of Occupational Therapists

(WFOT — World Federation of Occupational Therapists) is an international organization that unites professional associations of occupational therapists from more than 110 countries and represents over 630,000 professionals. It was founded in 1952 and is recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO). WFOT promotes and develops occupational therapy worldwide, sets international standards for professional education and practice, supports research and contributes to improving the quality of life of people through participation in activities that are important to them.
